Come join our round-table discussions each week as we tackle a number of topics relevant to improving literacy and our image within our community. Each week, the Black Authors Network Show interviews special guest authors, community leaders, educators, and experts from various fields in publishing, who want to make a difference in the lives of Americans.

1. Email Ella the phone number you will call from. Please call in from a very quiet spot, where you can speak undisturbed for 2 hours. If you have small children or pets, please see if you can get someone to attend to them while you are on the show. Please do not listen to the show from your computer while we are recordings—we can hear the feedback.

We can hear all background noise while the show is being recorded. Please keep in mind that these shows are shared all over the world! They far exceed BlogTalk Radio. So, prepare to talk in a professional and quiet setting. Mute your phones if for any reason you need to move around in your homes or office. We prefer that the callers use land-lines to get a crystal clear recording.

You can also chat in the chatroom during the show. You will have to join BlogTalk Radio and make us your friend.

2. Email Ella 5 “talking points” from your book. These are the questions or main points that your book presents to readers.The talking points will lead to explaining to the audience what your mission was in writing the book.

3. Send an image of your book, synopsis, and your bio. If you have a pre-made commercial or book trailer for your book please send me these items and the html codes to post them on my blog.

4. Please do not try to answer your call waiting during the show. If you are calling from a cordless phone or a cell phone, recharge the phones so that you can be on the phone for a 2-hour show and not drop the call. If for some reason the call drops, call back in and do not explain what happened, just re-join the conversation.

If for any reason, you can not keep your scheduled show time, please inform the show host, Ella, at least 2 hours before the show. We look forward to promoting you, your book, or business to the world with the help of EDC Creations Marketing and Branding Specialists!
