What is a Virtual Book Tour

It’s simple. A book tour where the “stops” are websites, blogs and chatrooms instead of bookstores. SLS authors want to make personal contact with their readers, book club members, and people who haven’t heard of them.  The EDC Creations staff members arrange the following for the authors:

Readings.   In person, if practical. Or through telephone, video and web-conferencing, we can set up readings and discussions from remote locations. Perform your reading via podcast and we broadcast it to the world for all to hear.

Media interviews.  Our authors are looking for radio, television, and print exposure. They are eager to talk to magazine editors and media hosts  about their books and ideas. We are seeking radio and TV show hosts to sponsor our authors all the time! Reach out to us.
Online chats.  We can visit your your chat room, blog or you can use ours. We have several chat options  through which readers and authors can interact at any time, from any place. Our most popular form of chatting is in our BAN Radio show chatroom 3 times per week.
Email.   Our authors post their email addresses so that readers can correspond with them one on one.

Lectures.  Our authors are experts in their fields and eager to share their knowledge with parents, book lovers,  professionals, community leaders from all walks of life. We hold community chat sessions on the BAN Radio Show every Monday, check out the authors on tour.



Attention Book Clubs
Book clubs and reader’s groups host a online book party for your favorite author. Sign up for our virtual book tours. Include your blog or chat room information so that we can have authors stop by and chat with your members. You may host your own book party on the Black Authors Network Radio Show with your favorite author.
