E-Seminar for Authors > Follow Your Dream

As a little girl growing up in the Mississippi Delta, life was like a rock in hard places. Reared by a single mom of four, there were times when we didn't have food to eat. I always wanted to go to college someday, but doors of opportunity seemed to always be shut in my face until one day I realized that life is filled with endless dreams, if we only pursue them. Some said I would never make it.

I been in the storm but I'm not up-rooted. I am motivated, dedicated, un-hesitated, and created. I can say, and you can say; I will shine as the stars, flow like a river, and excel in life to my highest dream because with God I am un-stopable. Baby steps are the beginning of life to your success. Opportunity knocks on many doors but you got to be willing to open it. You have an eternal spring inside of you waiting to come forth by your willingness to dream and make it happen.

Although my complicated life affected me, it has not defeated my purpose. I have risen above all obstacles; I am what I am by the grace of God. As I look back into the subconscious of my mind and see the helpless, poverty stricken little girl that I was, and now know the strong, creative, motivated woman that I have become, I contest that every foot of my battlefield has caused me to step into a world of success. To God be the Glory!
